Mission

Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Public Safety Division of Parole and Probation is to monitor and enforce offender compliance, to assist offenders in successfully reintegrating into society, to ensure that objective sentencing information and recommendations are submitted to Nevada District Courts, to collect and distribute restitution funds to victims of crime, and to reduce crime through a partnership with criminal justice agencies and community correctional services.
